Your map of DNA matches shows locations of your 4th cousin matches and closer (who have added locations).
 

1. From any page on Ancestry, click the DNA tab and select DNA Matches.
2. Near the top of the page, click By location.
3. Click a pin on the map to see details. Zoom in on an area by clicking a numbered pin or the + zoom button.
4. To filter by relationship, click Filter.

Adding your location for matches to see

1. On the map, click Add Your Location. If you don’t see Add Your Location, you’ve already added your location.
2. Enter your location. You can change or remove it at any time.
3. Click Add Location.

Changing or deleting your location

1. On your map, click the red pin. If you don’t see a red pin, make sure the filter doesn't exclude you.
2. To change your location, click Edit location, enter the location, and click Save. To remove your location, click Ancestry Profile. From your profile page, click Edit. Delete your location and click Done.
