Preserve My Tree is a low-priced monthly membership that provides access to Ancestry records attached to trees that you own.

This membership does not include access to: records saved to your shoebox, records attached to trees shared with you, record images from Forces War Records and Newspapers.c​om (coming soon), or other records not attached to trees that you own.

Managing your membership

Preserve My Tree will automatically renew each month (on the "Renews on" date on the Account settings page) until you cancel.

You can restart your UK Heritage, UK Heritage Plus, Worldwide, or All Access membership at any time by upgrading your membership.

Frequently asked questions

I own more than one tree; can I access records attached to all of them?
Yes. Preserve My Tree gives you access to the records attached to any tree that you own.

Someone shared a tree with me; can I access the records attached to it?
No. Preserve My Tree does not include access to records attached to trees you’re invited to.

Can I pause this membership?
No. Preserve My Tree cannot be paused.

Why don’t I see the Preserve My Tree membership option?
Preserve My Tree is a membership test and is not currently available to all Ancestry members.
